About Us
The Bright Physio is a client-centered rehabilitation clinic dedicated to high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy care. We offer a supportive environment, flexible scheduling, We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Physiotherapist or Resident Physiotherapist to join our expanding team.
Responsibilities
- Complete thorough physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver one-on-one, evidence-informed therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Uphold all ethical, professional, and safety standards expected in Alberta.
- Manage your own independent contractor schedule and caseload.
Qualifications & Requirements
For Registered Physiotherapists:
- Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
- Must hold an Active Practice Permit (or be eligible to obtain one).
- Must maintain professional liability insurance that meets College requirements.
- Must follow all College expectations, including:
- Standards of Practice
- Code of Ethical Conduct
- Documentation and record-keeping standards
- Informed consent requirements
- Privacy and confidentiality obligations
- Safety, risk management, and infection-prevention requirements
- Ongoing participation in the Continuing Competence Program
For Resident Physiotherapists:
- Must be registered as a Resident Physiotherapist with the College.
- Must meet all supervision requirements established by the College.
- Must ensure their supervising physiotherapist complies with the supervision structure set by the College.
- Must maintain liability insurance and follow all Standards of Practice applying to residents.
General Clinical Requirements
- Physiotherapy degree from an accredited institution (MScPT or equivalent).
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Additional certifications or clinical interests are considered an asset.
