The Bright Physio & Mindfulness Massage is a multidisciplinary wellness clinic dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-informed care. We promote a collaborative, client-focused approach to health and are seeking a skilled and professional Chiropractor to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive chiropractic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver safe, effective, evidence-informed chiropractic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Educate patients on treatment, prevention, home-care, and lifestyle strategies.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and team members.
- Manage your schedule and caseload as an independent contractor.
- Uphold all professional, ethical, and safety standards required in Alberta
Qualifications & Requirements
College of Chiropractors of Alberta – Regulatory Requirements
(Presented in a safe, compliant general format to align with current College expectations.)
Applicants must meet the requirements established by the College of Chiropractors of Alberta, including:
- Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Alberta.
- Must hold an active practice permit (or be eligible to obtain one).
- Must maintain professional liability insurance that meets College standards.
- Must comply with all College regulatory expectations, including:
- Standards of Practice
- Code of Ethics
- Clinical competence and continuing education requirements
- Documentation and record-keeping standards
- Informed consent procedures
- Patient privacy and confidentiality requirements
- Professional boundaries and patient-safety standards
- Advertising and communication guidelines
- Must comply with all relevant Alberta health legislation related to chiropractic practice.
General Clinical Requirements
- Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
- Strong patient assessment, manual therapy, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Additional certifications or modalities (e.g., ART, acupuncture, soft-tissue techniques) are an asset.
