About Us

The Bright Physio & Mindfulness Massage is a multidisciplinary healthcare clinic providing physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic care, and wellness services. We pride ourselves on a friendly, supportive environment for both staff and clients. We are seeking a professional Admin Support / Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and provide excellent front-desk customer service.
  • Manage scheduling, bookings, confirmations, and cancellations.
  • Answer phones and email inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and support direct billing procedures (training provided).
  • Maintain organized client records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Assist practitioners with administrative tasks.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and welcoming.
  • Perform daily opening and closing duties.

Education & Qualification Requirements (Suitable for Alberta)

(Reception and administrative roles in Alberta are not regulated by a governing college. The qualifications below reflect standard, industry-appropriate expectations for healthcare and wellness clinic administration.)
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma (Grade 12) required.
  • Post-secondary education is an asset, including programs such as:
  • Office Administration
  • Medical Office Assistant (MOA)
  • Business Administration
  • Health Administration
  • Accounting or Bookkeeping
  • Additional training in customer service, computer skills, or communication is beneficial.
Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Previous experience in reception, administration, customer service, or front-desk work (healthcare clinic experience is an asset).
  • Strong communication skills—professional, clear, and friendly.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Comfort using computers and software such as:
  • Scheduling systems
  • EMR (Electronic Medical Records) software (training provided if needed)
  • Email, spreadsheets, and basic office applications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with payments and client documentation.
  • Team-oriented, reliable, punctual, and positive attitude.
Work Schedule
  • Part-time hours
  • Morning
  • Evenings and weekends may be required depending on clinic needs
  • Flexible scheduling available
